1. Does Ottawa have a curfew ordinance?
Minors over the age of 14 but under 18:
Sunday through Thursday 11 PM – 6 AM
Fridays and Saturdays 12:00 Midnight to 6 AM
Minors under the age of 14:
10:30 PM - 6 AM Sunday to Sunday
There are exceptions listed in the ordinance. Please call if you have any questions.
2. Does the police department do fingerprinting?
Finger printing is done free of charge Monday through Friday 8 AM – 2 PM. It is recommended that you call and make an appointment.
3. Can I obtain a copy of a police or accident report?
Copies can be obtained at the police department Monday through Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM. Copies can also be faxed or mailed upon request.
