Trash Pick-up
Starting April 1, 2019, the Village of Ottawa has a contract with Werlor, Inc. from Defiance for residential trash pick-up. Their phone number is 1-800-582-3433. The rates are: $15.70 per household per month for recycling (2 times per month) and four bags of trash weekly with a 96 gallon container. The rate is $14.90 per month for recycling (2 times per month) and two bags of trash weekly with a 60 gallon container. Werlor will be servicing the entire Village on Tuesday with recycled materials being picked up on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Werlor will provide an extra bag service for $2.25 per bag; however, you must subscribe to the weekly service. These bags are available at the Municipal Building on Oak Street.

Gas & Electric Aggregation
On March 15, 2016, a majority of voters in the Village of Ottawa approved a referendum that authorized the formation of an "opt-out" governmental aggregation in compliance with Section 4928.20 of the Ohio Revised Code regarding the governmental aggregation of gas & electric service for consumers.
